We are José (the tall guy on the right) and Pedro (the one with the big hair), multidisciplinary, hands-on creative directors, leading and crafting local, pan-European, and global work at Innocean Berlin. 

Our story together could have begun a long time ago, back in sunny Portugal, but it didn't. We went to the same University, started our careers at the same agency, and most probably took the same train to work every day, but fate (and a German ECD) only brought us together in 2015 at DDB Berlin.

Almost ten years on, we’re still sitting next to each other, always excited to create something the world will notice, either for a brand or as a side-project to feed the egos of the wanna-be artists in us.

Along our journey, we were lucky to work with (and learn from) some of the brightest minds in the industry at agencies like DDB Berlin, adam&eve London, Jung von Matt Hamburg, Sid Lee Amsterdam, AKQA, Crispin Porter + Bogusky and Ogilvy Barcelona. And we’re especially proud to be part of the founding team who started Innocean Berlin and turned it into one of the most successful agencies in Germany.

First as creatives and then also as CDs, we’ve helped win business, mentored young talent, and created acclaimed projects for brands such as Volkswagen, adidas, Nike, Sony, Hyundai, Kia, Vodafone, Mercedes, Back Market and Coca-Cola. Some of this work went on to win lions, pencils and other shiny trophies, some made it to the 8 o’clock news and to the Great Sphinx of Giza (true story!), and one still lives at the Poster House Museum in New York.

And since we’re bragging, we also make a mean team at karaoke parties. Just ask the nice and VERY patient people at Green Mango’s karaoke bar.
